Concept Design & Furniture Specification

Following a detailed workplace consultancy process, our team are able to develop the combined outputs into a concept design to help envision the future state. This helps to maintain a depth of continuity in the translation of stakeholder engagement through to the physical environment. In addition GenNorth can provide detailed specifications for the procurement of new furniture, alongside any opportunities to re-purpose and re-use.

Depending on each client’s requirements and preferred procurement route, GenNorth provide concept design support and advice. Depending on the extent of the workplace consultancy services provided, GenNorth are often best placed to develop a concept for clients which is then developed by a separate team or provided as part of a comprehensive brief to a contractor as part of a Design & Build tender exercise. This allows the client to retain control of the design in the early stages and maintain engagement with key stakeholders. Ongoing design monitoring of contractors and architects proposals is also provided to ensure the design ethos and client requirements are achieved.
